GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) Cultural Park

When you want to see closer the huge statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana, take our tour GWK – Uluwatu Sunset tour package. We will pick you up and take you first visiting GWK, a huge project statue that will be 150 meters high, it is located in the highest point of Ungasan Village. We will take you to visit the area mainly the statue of the Garuda and Wisnu God, in Hindu mythology the Garuda is the transportation of Wisnu God. Next is visiting Uluwatu, Ulu in Balinese means heart, Watu means stone. This temple was built in 11th century by Javanese priest Empu Kuturan or well known with Empu Raja Kerta.

 


After visiting Uluwatu, we will see Kecak Dance. The Kecak dances consist of about fifty men wearing only a loin cloth with the upper part of their bodies left bare, they form rows of circles, in the middle of the circle there is a coconut oil lamp. The Kecak dance is performed for dance dramas and the story presented takes from the Ramayana epic. To end the trip, we will take you to enjoy Jimbaran Seafood Dinner. Jimbaran is well known with its beachside seafood restaurant. You can have the dinner while enjoying the sunset and scenery with cold drink and a fresh grill fish.
